What's up Zolace fans! Welcome back to our favourite day of the week,
Hijab Fridays! Today we are going to be creating a simple and basic shawl style that beginners will love! People usually like to wear this using a shawl, so if you've been wanting to convert from a square scarf to a shawl, this is THE style for you to learn. Today you will need your Zehna Chiffon Rectangle Shawl, 1 brooch, and 2 pins. That's it! Here we go!
Step 1: Place your shawl over your head leaving one side longer than the other
Place your shawl over your head leaving one side longer than the other. You'll see why this is important in a minute!
Step 2: Line the front edge around your face
Line the front edge comfortably around your face and secure it with a brooch.
Step 3: Pin it to the back half of your head
Now remember how one side is longer? Leave the long side for now and take the SHORTER side and nicely fold it back, pinning it to the back half of your head.
Step 4: Wrap it under your chin
Now, take the LONGER side and give it a slight twist on the edge so it stays secure, and wrap it under your chin all the way around you, until you can pin it just above your ear.
Final Style 1
With the extra hanging fabric, carefully move it up to drape it beautifully over your front, leaving one long piece draping on the side. And there you go!
Final Style 2
Now as a bonus, we can actually make this into a second style. Take the long draping piece and layer it over to your right shoulder, securing it with a brooch. This will give you great dimension and be a way to mix up your look!
